West Bend, WI – Jaxon Jaecks  spent his summer helping others. The quiet 14-year-old from West Bend set out to mow 50 lawns for the elderly, disabled and veterans. On Friday, Rodney Smith Jr, founder of Raising Men Lawn Care Service rewarded Jaecks for his efforts.

“Kids mow lawns for free for people in the community,” said Smith Jr. “If they complete the challenge they get a weed eater, leaf blower and lawn mower.”

Jaecks said he was able to meet a lot of new people and “it was a fun way to get outside.”
